If you were a metal fan in the early to mid 80's then you are most likely aware of this great zine and also aware of it's main creator Bob Muldowney (RIP) and with his early partner in crime John Erigo. I would like to take a moment to publicly thank Bob and John for creating this fine zine, and more specifically Bob for being the most honest no holds barred journalist of the era, and also for being my #1 go to guy for metal reviews back in the day. If Bob said a band was Kick Ass then I dove straight in and bought their records or wrote them a letter to get my hands on their demo tape, and I have to say Bob never let me down...not even once...not even a tiny little bit...RIP Mr. Muldowney...Dave G.
